In Chains is about the finite and unchangeable condition of the human being, that is, his fate of death.
The man is chained to his cross, which represents his destiny from which he will not free himself until the end of his days.
Nobody is able to change this condition even the god (whoever this is), symbolized by the golden discs of sunflowers.
In fact, these are all with bowed heads, indicating the impotence of the divinity to change this status quo, while the crows, symbol of omen of death, wait impatiently for fate to be fulfilled.

In Chains riguarda la condizione finita e immutabile dell’essere umano, ovvero il suo destino di morte.
L’uomo è incatenato alla propria croce, che rappresenta il destino di ciascuno, e del quale non si libererà fino alla fine dei suoi giorni.
Nessuno è in grado di cambiare questa condizione nemmeno il dio (qualunque esso sia), simboleggiato dai dischi dorati dei girasoli. Infatti questi sono tutti a capo chino, ad indicare l’impotenza della divinità a cambiare questo status quo, mentre i corvi, simbolo del presagio di morte, attendono impazienti che il destino si compia.
